When I bike, I wake up, get ready, have a banana bite, put on gloves and the clips, and run out of home. That "click" of clipping in makes me feel like I am the world's top athlete.

Another wonderful thing that I find in Florence is the people. Cycling with Italians is just so challenging because they grew up in these hills, but also so funny and inspiring because they have the best humor to cheer you up when you feel you can't do it anymore. "Pedala!"

Regarding biking in Italy, I often use the word "climbing" because Italians are the best climbers. And something I still found fascinating is that they love hills. The higher the mountain climb, the more "beautiful" they found it, as they say, "Bellisima salita."
Sometimes when I am riding, I wonder why biking is so addictive? But I guess the feeling of peace, joy, and personal achievement makes every biker keep going out to enjoy.
